Hello, I'm Craig Monroe, husband, father of two, and a person with a passion for photography.

For as long as I can remember, I have always been the "one with the camera." Early on, I simply "snapped" photos. I always had a camera with me, and people seemed to be happy that someone was taking photos.

Then, it happened to me. I asked myself, why am I taking photos and not taking the time to take the best photos I can? I clearly derived immense enjoyment from the art form. Since that day, my camera has never left my side. I've read, studied, and most importantly experimented incessantly. There are still many techniques that I have yet to try and perfect. Photography is my unending challenge. I look forward to each one as it comes. Because of this, my camera comes with me, no matter what the destination.

I've found, that a moment is not planned. A true moment can and usually does surprise you. Something or someone to be captured in that instance in time. It is invaluable for me to have feedback of my work. If you have the time, please take a moment to add a comment or suggestion below.
